"David Annable settled in Moravia, in 1806, and joined the County Medical Society August 7th of that year. He had an extensive practice here till about 1830, when he removed to Beardsley's Corners, in Tompkins county, and died there of apoplexy not long afterwards. He built the old north brick tavern in 1814."3
