"Aaron IV was born in Tennessee shortly after his father Aaron III was killed in a skirmish with Indians. His mother remarried and after some time in Kentucky, Aaron met and married Elizabeth Hampton: he was 19, she was 16. Soon Aaron and several of his siblings and their families moved to Posey County in southern Indiana, this migration occurring about 1815. Some time around 1845 Aaron moved again, this time to Franklin County IL, and finally to Perry County IL where he died at Tamaroa in 1866 at age 80."5
