    MONTPELIER -- Elmer Carl Jenson, 80l, died Wednesday in Everett, Wash.
    He was born March 2, 1906 at Union, Utah.
    He married Gwenfread Evans May 30, 1931. She died Sept.12, 1973. He later married Dorothy Davis June 3, 1930.
    He was a longtime Montpelier resident prior to moving to Langley, Wash. in 1984. He served on the Montpelier City Council, school hoard and the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Board.
    He was a founding director of Associated Grocers Wholesalers and of the Tri-State bank in Montpelier.
    He was a 50-year member of the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Masonic Lodge and was also a Shriner. He owned and operated the Jensen A.G. Market in Montpelier for many years and was a partner in the Burgoyne Cafe.
    He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn B. Heffon MONTPELIER -- Elmer Carl Jenson, 80l, died Wednesday in Everett, Wash.

    Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier South Stake Center, located at 485 S. Seventh St., with Rev. Norman Naugler officiating. Friends may call at Matthews Mortuary today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Montpelier Cemetery.
