"The death of Mrs. Kelly widow of Michael Kelly, which occurred at her home Westmorland Street at 9 o'clock last night, will be heard with deep regret. Mrs. Kelly had been ill for the past 13 months with heart trouble and bronchial affection. The deceased was born in Moncton and was the d/o late James Hannigan. She was 69 years of age last Christmas. The death of Mr. Kelly occurred on 12th June last and a son, Thomas Kelly of Boston, died New Year's night. Just two weeks ago a brother of Mrs. Kelly, Jas. Hannigan, died suddenly of heart disease while at work in the I.C.R. yard here. The affliction was more than Mrs. Kelly in her delicate state of health could bear. Within eight months six members and connections of this family have died. The remaining members of the family are: Mrs. James Gillespie, Moncton; Mrs. Patrk. Mackssey, Halifax; Misses Susan Kelly and Maggie Kelly; Messrs. James Kellyand Robert Kelly of the I.C.R. The latter four live at home. The funeral will take place Friday morn. 8 o'clock."
