Citation of Rome Daily Sentinel: "Almira Vincent, widow of Gardner Vincent, died of old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Abner Getman, 202 South Washington street, today, aged 85 years. The deceased was born in Burlington, Vt. She had resided in this city about six years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and led a Christian life. Besides her daughter she leaves a son, Gardner Vincent of Clayton, N . Y. Tomorrow the remains will be taken to Clayton, where the funeral and interment will be made."
